Vertical Transportation (VT) – Lift Replacement
PAS were invited by a leading managing agent to participate in an open market tender to provide consultancy services for replacement lifts within a prestigious property in the west end of London.
PAS were successful in being appointed to provide VT and Construction, Design and Management Regulations (CDMC) consultancy for the site, comprising of 9 lifts. The key deliverable’s of the contract were:
To provide a replacement MRL installation to free up valuable space in the upper floor.
Act as the CDM coordinator.
Attend regular client and contractor meetings throughout the tender and post tender process.
Advise client of changes in standards and regulations.
Complete a competitive tender for the project and provide structured analysis.
Review quotations and advise whether costs represent value for money and are in line with market rates.
Project manage from removal of old equipment through to completed installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Formulate specifications for ongoing maintenance.
